Books : "Quite" by Susan Cain

When I about  check in to plane to flight back to Medan.. I visited WHSmith, a souvenir store in Penang International Airport..

Inside have some books.. from novels to self help books to kids book.. I found a book.. this book attracted me with its title "Quiet" wrote by Susan Cain.

This book is really controversial to me.. it tell me an exactly contrary to what I have learn till now..

If you want to success in business.. you must able to speak well. In order to sell your stuff you must able to give sweet persuasive words..

I tell you that.. that teaching have made me tired.. made me sick.. made me hate selling project that my campus conducted..
It is not that I never try to be a person that describe just now.. several year before, I tried to be better in socializing with other, be better leader.. Then I join multi level marketing.. and the result I got are : first I can become more confident than before, I can do public speaking (at least I am brave enough to stand in front of tens people and tell a story) but, second it is temporary.. I only can be confident when I have faith in what I am doing, what I am telling...

So till now I still prefer work at behind-the-scene to on stage... And I think I am suck.. I can not be a good businessman if I am still like this.. That is what I belived till I met this book "Quiet" .. this book give some hopes

This book show you that some of great people in the world, the great that might be your idol is  introvert people. People that work better when they are not overstimulated by interact with many people.. People are likely to listen. People that might have soft-voice...

So if you are introvert people than no need to feel inferior, you just need to create your own style (either in social life or your career). Read this book, hope this book, by Susan Cain, can give you some inspiration..

We as introvert person, no need to try or pretend to be extrovert person.. We are different, accept what we are, develop your self.
